[국회=+코리아타임즈/신종철기자]더불어민주당은 비상계엄 사태를 촉발한 윤석열 대통령의 즉각 퇴진을 촉구했다. 민주당은 "엄중한 내란 행위이자 완벽한 탄핵 사유"라며 윤 대통령이 자진해 사퇴하지 않으면 탄핵을 추진하겠다고 목소리를 높였다.

민주당은 4일 국회에서 긴급 의원총회를 열이 이 같은 내용의 결의문을 발표했다.

민주당은 "윤 대통령의 비상계엄 선포는 명백한 헌법 위반"이라며 "(비상계엄) 선포에 필요한 어떤 요건도 지키지 않았다"고 밝혔다.

이어 "비상계엄 선포 자체가 원천 무효이자 중대한 헌법 위반이고, 이는 엄중한 내란 행위이자 완벽한 탄핵 사유"라며 "헌법과 민주주의를 유린한 윤 대통령의 헌정 파괴 범죄를 좌시하지 않겠다. 윤 대통령은 즉각 자진해 사퇴하라"고 주장했다.

민주당은 "윤 대통령이 즉각 퇴진하지 않으면 국민의 뜻을 받들어 즉시 탄핵 절차에 돌입할 것"이라며 "대한민국 민주주의와 헌정 질서를 지키기 위해 온 국민과 함께 끝까지 싸울 것"이라고 강조했다.

아울러, "각 당이 신속히 협의해 오늘 중으로 탄핵안을 발의하겠다"며 "탄핵안 발의 후 24시간 이후 72시간 이내에 이를 가결해야 하므로 가장 빠르게 탄핵안을 가결해 대통령의 직무를 즉각 정지시키는 데 국회가 집중해야 한다"고 목소리를 높였다.
